Is their a language barrier?
There will be no language barrier as most of our staff in Iraq trained to converse and write in the English language. However, our staff in the united states are fluent in English and will conduct most of the communications and negotiations.
How do I start my business relationship with Dijlah?
After both parties show interest in one another and they will be willing to conduct preliminary talk regarding the possibilities on doing business in Iraq under a particular scope of work. Then initially you will sign A NON-CIRCUMVENSION AND NON-DISCLOUSER agreement with Dijlah, then both parties will further be able to exchange knowledge and information regarding type and scope of relationship and then proceed to sign a contract of representation.
Is their risk for me doing business in Iraq?
Other than the current security issues which is improving significantly. You will not need to be working on location as Dijlah's will conduct all your businesses in Iraq without the need of your presence, in exception when signing contracts which could be administered in Iraq or abroad, these services will reduce risk and cost for you.
Who is my client?
The Iraqi Goverment is the client.
Can Dijlah become a representative of my company in Iraq?
Dijlah is honored to provide the best representation for an established and well known International conglomerate to rebuild Iraqs infrastructure as represenation is our number one goal and objective. However, we also welcome other small to mid size companies requesting for representation in Iraq.
If my company is interested to bid on a tender, whats next?
Dijlah will provide you will all the necessary information regarding the project and all the rules and regulation regarding the bidding process, the process will begin with a Letter of Intent. Dijlah will submit your bid on your behalf without the need for your presence. Dijlah will track and follow through and keep you updated every step of the way.
What is the process of choosing the winning bid?
The Iraqi government will analyze the offers submitted within a specified time, minimum of three offers are required. Depending on certain circumstances, the Iraqi government will notify the winning bidder directly

If my bid is chosen, is there a need to go to Baghdad?
No, there will be no need to travel to Baghdad, however, a contract must be signed with the client at your own convenience. In some cases, a representative individual may be authorized to sign the contract.
Is Dijlah able to conduct Engineering tasks?
Yes, Dijlah is registered and licensed to conduct engineering work and it has the resources and experiences necessary to represent a multidiscipline organization for a wide range of projects. Please visit our website.
How do we get paid for our services?
Dijlah will arrange for payment disbursement per your permission and authorization.
Who will do the site surveying and data collection?
Dijlah will assist you with all their resources for data collection as well as site surveys.
